Lead Teacher, Early Childhood Education in Charlotte
Overview
Own the classroom as a Lead Teacher at Childtime Learning Centers in Charlotte, NC. You will design and deliver interactive learning experiences that inspire children from 6 weeks to 12 years. You will mentor fellow Teachers, manage curriculum implementation, and serve as the expert on licensing guidelines and company standards. Reporting to the Center Director, you will collaborate with a team of educators and support staff. What You'll Do7
- 1Create and deliver fun, interactive learning experiences that promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
- 2Lead classroom management and implement curriculum per company standards.
- 3Mentor and support fellow Teachers in lesson planning and classroom strategies.
- 4Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.
- 5Ensure compliance with all state licensing and company policies.
- 6Adapt activities for indoor and outdoor settings, engaging children in physical activity.
- 7Monitor and document child progress and communicate with families on developmental milestones.
Requirements7
- 1Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- 2Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center standards.
- 3At least 18 years of age.
- 4Ability to work indoors and outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- 5Energetic, dependable, and passionate about early childhood education.
- 6Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- 7Preferred: CPR and First Aid certification.
