Overview

You will lead a preschool classroom at Childtime Learning Centers, guiding a team of teachers and ensuring the daily care and education of 30+ children. You will step into the Director's role when needed and mentor new hires, while spending at least 50% of your week teaching. This role blends hands-on teaching with leadership, offering a path to grow into center management.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Lead classroom management and implement curriculum, spending at least 50% of your week teaching preschool children.
  • 2Build relationships with families to support each child's development and your center's enrollment goals.
  • 3Mentor and train new teachers, modeling effective teaching strategies and creating interactive learning experiences.
  • 4Assume Director or Assistant Director duties during their absence, including opening and closing the school.
  • 5Ensure daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing Childtime quality standards.

Requirements5

  • 118+ years old.
  • 2Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
  • 3College credits towards an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA, preferred.
  • 4Meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
  • 5Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
