What You'll Do7

  • 1Build and deliver a comprehensive curriculum using the Creative Curriculum framework.
  • 2Teach beginning reading and math skills through hands-on, play-based activities.
  • 3Help children build social and emotional skills through guided interactions and conflict resolution.
  • 4Use varied instructional methods to engage individual learners and small groups.
  • 5Communicate daily with parents and collaborate with school staff on student progress.
  • 6Assess child development against milestones, adjusting activities to meet each child's needs.
  • 7Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom that follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements6

  • 1Preschool CDA credential or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or higher.
  • 22+ years of experience teaching preschool-aged children.
  • 3Strong grasp of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • 4Excellent verbal and written communication skills for parent and team interactions.
  • 5Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to adhere to them.
  • 6Problem-solving and mediation skills to address classroom challenges calmly.
