Lead a 3-year-old preschool classroom and shape early learning through the Creative Curriculum. You will own daily instruction, child assessment, and parent communication for your class. What You'll Do7
- 1Build and deliver a comprehensive curriculum using the Creative Curriculum framework.
- 2Teach beginning reading and math skills through hands-on, play-based activities.
- 3Help children build social and emotional skills through guided interactions and conflict resolution.
- 4Use varied instructional methods to engage individual learners and small groups.
- 5Communicate daily with parents and collaborate with school staff on student progress.
- 6Assess child development against milestones, adjusting activities to meet each child's needs.
- 7Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom that follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements6
- 1Preschool CDA credential or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or higher.
- 22+ years of experience teaching preschool-aged children.
- 3Strong grasp of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- 4Excellent verbal and written communication skills for parent and team interactions.
- 5Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to adhere to them.
- 6Problem-solving and mediation skills to address classroom challenges calmly.
