Overview
You will own the classroom experience at Westlake Elementary, guiding 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education with the CDA Credential. You will coach less experienced teachers, implement the KinderCare curriculum, and partner with families. What You'll Do6
- 1Coach and mentor less experienced teachers, model behaviors, and provide feedback
- 2Implement the KinderCare curriculum to meet each child's unique needs
- 3Create a safe, nurturing environment where children play and learn
- 4Partner with parents to share a desire for the best care and education
- 5Support center success by achieving enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
- 6Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and community contacts
Requirements7
- 1Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- 22-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience
- 3Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- 4Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- 5Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
- 6Make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity
- 7Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents
