The Aerospace Generator Rotor & Stator Rewind and Repair Shop Lead will lead operations supporting global airline customers. This role combines technical leadership with production management to drive high-quality repairs. What You'll Do16

  • 1Perform duties related to the full rewind process in the rewind repair shop
  • 2Organize all daily operations of the generator rewind repair shop
  • 3Plan schedule and prioritize workload to meet customer delivery requirements
  • 4Coordinate shop resources labor allocation tooling and materials to maximize productivity
  • 5Monitor workflow from receiving inspection through final testing and shipment
  • 6Ensure efficient utilization of equipment facilities and personnel
  • 7Provide technical expertise in repair overhaul rewinding balancing and testing of aerospace generator rotors and stators
  • 8Review repair methods RS-DER Specifications engineering specifications OEM manuals and technical data
  • 9Support troubleshooting of complex electrical and mechanical failures
  • 10Approve repair processes and ensure adherence to approved procedures
  • 11Assist engineering and quality teams with repair development and process improvements
  • 12Supervise rewind technicians leads and support personnel
  • 13Recruit train mentor and evaluate employees
  • 14Conduct employee reviews and promote accountability teamwork and continuous improvement
  • 15Maintain required certifications and qualifications
  • 16Work overtime as required by production requirements

Requirements21

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons leading technical teams in aerospace maintenance
  • 3Associate or bachelor`s degree in engineering aviation maintenance industrial technology business management or related field
  • 47-10 years experience in electrical rotating equipment repair aerospace MRO or aircraft generator overhaul
  • 5Proficiency with FAA EASA OEM AS9100 ISO compliance systems
  • 6Strong knowledge of rotor and stator winding design insulation systems and rewind processes
  • 7Ability to interpret engineering drawings blueprints SRMs repair manuals and technical specifications
  • 8Expertise in project management production scheduling root cause analysis continuous improvement
  • 9Skills in quality inspections documentation certification audits CAPA and maintenance records
  • 10Knowledge of safety regulations hazardous material handling incident investigations and continuous safety improvement
  • 11Experience with quoting estimating budgeting cost control process optimization technical reviews customer support and business development
  • 12Strong planning organization multitasking and prioritization skills in fast-paced production environments
  • 13Effective communication adaptability dependability and attention to detail
  • 14Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and standard aircraft maintenance tools including precision measuring instruments electrical test equipment torque tools soldering equipment and hand tools
  • 15Language skills ability to read analyze and interpret scientific technical journals financial reports and legal documents
  • 16Mathematical abilities working with probability statistics plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
  • 17Reasoning skills defining problems collecting data establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions
  • 18Physical demands include sitting standing walking bending stooping climbing balancing occasional reaching above shoulder level kneeling or squatting lifting up to 50 pounds and regular use of hands and fingers
