What You'll Do11
- 1Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment
- 2Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable electromechanical equipment
- 3Inspect various kinds of electromechanical equipment for winding damage
- 4Document/record all relevant data specific to unit’s electromagnetic characteristics
- 5Prepare all reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts
- 6Ability to strip stator or apparatus without damage to core or iron
- 7Test rewound electromechanical equipment according to EASA Standards
- 8Lead with integrity and prioritize safety
- 9Value teamwork and accountability
- 10Focus on the customer
- 11Have an entrepreneurial spirit
Requirements5
- 15+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
- 2Prior practice in winding fields armatures and synchronous rotor poles
- 3Ability to perform basic math functions including addition subtraction multiplication division
- 4Physical Requirements: Ability to stand stoop kneel and bend for prolonged periods
- 5Ability to lift push pull items up to 50 lbs
