Lead AV Service Technician Minneapolis
Overview
We seek a Lead AV Service Technician to pioneer smart spaces in Minneapolis. This is a founding role focused on installing and supporting integrated AV lighting shading networking camera systems. You will lead projects and grow our Minnesota team while working directly with the local owner.
What You'll Do11
- 1Install configure and service integrated AV lighting shades networking camera systems
- 2Interact professionally with customers trade partners and contractors
- 3Troubleshoot audio video networking and control systems
- 4Interpret project blueprints and system schematics to execute installations
- 5Ensure clean code compliant high performance installations
- 6Coordinate projects from installation through completion and communicate progress
- 7Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients builders designers and trade partners
- 8Establish installation standards and best practices for the Minneapolis branch
- 9Maintain a clean company vehicle tools and equipment
- 10Mentor and lead future technicians as our team grows
- 11Deliver service meeting Daisy's standards for quality reliability and professionalism
Requirements12
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 25–7 years of AV networking low voltage or technology integration experience
- 3Experience in lighting shading networking Wi Fi indoor and outdoor audio video home theaters security surveillance and smart home automation
- 4Experience with Control4 Crestron or similar platforms preferred
- 5Industry certifications such as CEDIA AVIXA or manufacturer certifications preferred
- 6Minnesota Power Limited Technician license preferred
- 7Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
- 8Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical environments
- 9Positive attitude strong customer service skills and professional work ethic
- 10Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to lead projects and mentor others
- 11Excellent judgment and problem solving skills
- 12Pass a drug screen and background check
