Overview
Own a part-time in-person teaching role guiding Language Arts and History for small homeschool groups at a hands-on learning community in Mesa. You will engage grades 1-4 and 5-6 with interactive, project-based methods and games to reinforce skills. This role emphasizes independent work, guided support, and real-world activities in a positive classroom environment. You will collaborate with a flexible schedule and small student cohorts to tailor learning to each group.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build engaging lesson plans for Language Arts and History that fit student pace
- 2Design and supervise interactive group activities and projects to reinforce grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and historical concepts
- 3Guide students through hands-on activities, games, and discussions to foster independent learning
- 4Check work, provide individualized feedback, and support students as they progress
