Spanish Teacher, after-school enrichment for K-5th

We seek a passionate individual to support our after-school Spanish enrichment program at Outer Village. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing environment where children ages 4–8 develop language skills through play. This role offers a flexible schedule and a supportive community.

You will lead a Spanish immersion preschool classroom, shaping the daily curriculum for children ages 2-5. You will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth, while working alongside a teacher assistant. Your team includes a supportive staff and you will coordinate with parents daily. In this role, you will have the autonomy to design your classroom environment and curriculum, with cross-training across all age groups for professional growth.

Teach Spanish one-on-one to students in grades 1-12 at Brightmont Academy, a private school with 25 campuses across 10 states. You own the full instructional experience, adapting lessons to each student's pace and learning style. No lesson planning, grading, or parent meetings. You focus purely on teaching and building student confidence through a gradual release model. Flexible schedules and professional development support your growth, while no outside work ensures a balanced contract role.

Own the development and delivery of elementary and middle school instruction at scale, fostering growth in students and strong connections with families and staff. Collaborate with a team of teachers, specialists, and administrators to implement state-aligned curricula and inclusive practices. This role emphasizes hands-on classroom leadership, data-informed instruction, and ongoing professional growth to support diverse learners.

This role owns a preschool classroom at Tampa Bay International School, serving PK-8 students in a Spanish immersion setting. You will lead daily lessons in both English and Spanish, shaping early learning for 20+ young learners. The school is a tight-knit bilingual community where creativity and collaboration thrive. You will work alongside classroom aides and support staff, with direct access to VPK resources. This position stands apart for its dual-language focus and stable school culture.

Develop foundational Spanish language skills and cultural appreciation for K–6 students at a small mixed-grade school. Create engaging lessons using stories songs games and authentic materials while maintaining a positive classroom environment.
