Overview
Own the development and delivery of elementary and middle school instruction at scale, fostering growth in students and strong connections with families and staff. Collaborate with a team of teachers, specialists, and administrators to implement state-aligned curricula and inclusive practices. This role emphasizes hands-on classroom leadership, data-informed instruction, and ongoing professional growth to support diverse learners.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build engaging lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to state standards and district policies
- 2Design and deliver individualized and small group instruction to meet student needs
- 3Assess and document student academic and social growth and communicate progress to families
- 4Create a rich learning environment with displays, centers, and purposeful classroom design
- 5Maintain professional development through district offerings and self-directed growth activities
- 6Coordinate with instructional assistants and colleagues to support pupil success
- 7Manage inventory and requisition instructional aids and materials
- 8Engage with parents via conferences and communications to discuss pupil progress
- 9Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor Degree
- 2Arizona Elementary Teacher certification
- 3(Early Childhood endorsement OR Early Childhood certification for Kindergarten)
- 4Provisional SEI or full Bilingual or ESL endorsement
- 5Onsite position in Tempe, AZ
- 6Ability to fulfill essential functions of the role
- 7Experience with lesson planning and assessments
- 8Good communication with parents and staff
