Overview
Own the classroom experience in a classical Catholic setting at our Gilbert, AZ center with ~13 hours per week. Teach Math, Science, Religion, or History in a Socratic style to homeschooling families and parish communities. No formal teaching certification required; full training provided. This role offers structured, faith-infused instruction and a collaborative team environment.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build engaging lessons and deliver structured instruction in a Catholic classical classroom
- 2Design assessments and provide timely feedback aligned with RCA standards
- 3Lead class discussion and Socratic dialogue to foster critical thinking
- 4Prepare materials at home and arrive ready to teach in a highly organized environment
- 5Collaborate with other tutors to maintain consistency across subjects
Requirements6
- 1Be willing to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate living faith
- 2Complete mandatory training prior to classroom duties
- 3Clear background check
- 4Available Mondays and Thursdays 8:30am-3:15pm during the academic year
- 5Experience in homeschooling, parish ministry, catechesis, or classical/private school settings is a plus
- 6Must be able to prepare for classes at home and come prepared to teach in a structured environment
