Landscape Laborer, Outdoor Maintenance & Hardscape (Moon Township)
Overview
Landscape roles involve outdoor maintenance, hardscape installation, and lawn care at scale. You will join a small crew focused on reliable, hands-on work in all weather. You’ll partner with crew leaders and project managers to complete seasonal tasks and support snow services in winter.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain landscapes by mulching, weeding, edging, and planting to improve site appearance
- 2Trim and shape shrubs and small trees with proper pruning techniques
- 3Assist with seasonal cleanups including leaf removal and bed preparation
- 4Support installation of paver patios, walkways, retaining walls and other hardscape features
- 5Prepare job sites by digging, leveling, and laying base materials
- 6Load/unload materials and operate hand and power tools safely
- 7Mow lawns with commercial mowers, trim edges and clean debris for a neat property
- 8Apply basic turf care techniques such as seeding and aerating
- 9Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months using snow blowers and salt spreaders
- 10Be available for on-call shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Requirements8
- 1Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience is a plus but not required, training provided
- 2Ability to lift 80+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- 3Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- 4Positive attitude, reliable attendance, and strong work ethic
- 5Valid driver’s license
- 6Typical hours are Monday–Thursday (10 hr days) with weather fallback on Friday
- 7On-the-job training and career growth potential
