What You'll Do10
- 1Build meals service support by helping serve residents at tables and clearing dining areas
- 2Design dishwashing flow and storage of clean items to maintain a sanitary kitchen and dining room
- 3Ship and set dining room tables for meal service and ensure a welcoming environment
- 4Drive light food preparation tasks including basic salad and dessert prep and evening dishes
- 5Assist with general cleaning and sanitation duties in kitchen and dining spaces
- 6Collaborate with culinary staff to meet daily meal service needs and timelines
- 7Maintain food handling procedures and comply with state regulations
- 8Support residents with friendly, professional communication and hospitality
- 9Document and report supply or equipment issues to the supervisor
- 10Support ongoing training to develop culinary skills toward advanced roles
Requirements10
- 1Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2Ability to communicate clearly with residents and team members
- 3Friendly, professional, and energetic personality with passion for helping others
- 4General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
- 5Maintain food handlers permit as required by state regulations
- 6Strong desire to advance in the culinary industry and meet timelines
- 7Some kitchen experience preferred
