Overview

You will own incident response and network infrastructure support for USSOCOM's SITEC 3 contract, connecting over 70,000 users worldwide. You'll handle Cisco routing and switching, Microsoft desktop and server environments, and VTC systems. You'll work on-site at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida. This role is critical to ensuring global Special Operations Forces have reliable IT services.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Resolve incidents in Remedy for network, hardware, and software issues affecting 70,000+ users.
  • 2Install, tune, test, and monitor Cisco WAN and LAN routing and switching infrastructure.
  • 3Image and deploy Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including data migration from antiquated equipment.
  • 4Patch and upgrade OS and software applications across the enterprise, ensuring security compliance.
  • 5Install and terminate fiber and copper cabling, testing and troubleshooting faults to maintain uptime.
  • 6Configure and maintain VTC endpoints for secure video conferencing.
  • 7Dispose of end-of-life equipment, label cables and patch panels per SOCOM standards, and transport gear between locations.
  • 8Integrate network devices like patch plates, routers, and switches into communication rooms.

Requirements7

  • 1DoDD 8570 01-M IAT II and CCNA or Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator.
  • 26+ years of IT support experience with a HS diploma, 4 years with an AS/AA, or 2 years with a BS/BA.
  • 3Active DoD Top Secret clearance required to start, with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • 410% CONUS travel availability.
  • 5Solid technical skills across network, software, and hardware protocols.
  • 6Comprehensive knowledge of government IT infrastructure and network components.
  • 7Exceptional verbal and written communication, with a customer-service mindset.
