IT Manager - Demiurge Studios
Overview
We are seeking an IT Manager to own our studio infrastructure end to end. This hands-on leadership role involves maintaining systems supporting hundreds of remote users while leading infrastructure modernization initiatives. The position requires deep technical expertise combined with strong collaboration skills. You will drive critical projects like cloud migration and identity platform upgrades while mentoring our IT team.
What You'll Do11
- 1Administer end-user compute environment including MDM and asset tracking for 100 remote seats
- 2Manage Perforce depot administration with focus on performance optimization
- 3Maintain Linux perforce servers and Windows build machines for game development
- 4Plan and execute migration of on-premises infrastructure to colocation and cloud environments
- 5Own backup and disaster recovery strategy with regular testing protocols
- 6Modernize identity and access stack including Active Directory and Google Workspace implementations
- 7Ensure endpoint security tooling consolidation across global teams
- 8Support partner security audits for co-development relationships
- 9Maintain comprehensive IT documentation from inventory to access controls
- 10Oversee network infrastructure including firewall configurations
- 11Manage vendor relationships and software procurement processes
Requirements11
- 15+ years in IT administration with minimum 2 years in leadership roles
- 2Hands-on Perforce administration experience
- 3Fluency with Windows and macOS endpoint management
- 4Experience administering Active Directory and/or cloud identity platforms
- 5Strong networking fundamentals knowledge
- 6Proven ability to build IT documentation from scratch
- 7Experience managing access for distributed teams across geographies
- 8Infrastructure migration experience
- 9Familiarity with Jenkins and CID infrastructure
- 10Prior exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits
- 11Game studio or creative media production environment preferred
