Overview
Penumbra seeks a Director who defines and executes its global infrastructure strategy delivering secure scalable resilient AI-ready platforms. This leader drives cloud transformation automation AI-enabled operations and operational excellence across worldwide operations.
What You'll Do18
- 1Recruit develop mentor and lead high-performing Infrastructure & Engineering teams
- 2Collaborate with business and IT leaders to deliver secure reliable and scalable solutions
- 3Ensure compliance with QMS security privacy and regulatory requirements
- 4Develop and execute enterprise infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives
- 5Lead architecture engineering implementation and operation of enterprise infrastructure cloud networking collaboration identity and endpoint platforms
- 6Drive modernization through cloud-first automation-first and AI-first initiatives
- 7Establish architecture standards governance operational excellence and engineering best practices
- 8Lead enterprise cloud collaboration identity endpoint and infrastructure services across hybrid environments
- 9Develop cloud governance resilience disaster recovery capacity planning and cost optimization strategies
- 10Provide leadership for global network infrastructure supporting corporate manufacturing and remote operations
- 11Partner with Information Security to strengthen Zero Trust architecture infrastructure security and compliance
- 12Champion Infrastructure-as-Code automation observability and AI-powered operations
- 13Partner with Data & AI teams to build scalable infrastructure supporting enterprise AI initiatives
- 14Lead disaster recovery business continuity service management operational metrics and continuous improvement
- 15Manage strategic vendors technology roadmaps and infrastructure investments
- 16Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System and applicable regulations
- 17Ensure department members follow QMS regulations standards and procedures
- 18Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements14
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Master’s degree in computer science information technology or related field preferred
- 315+ years of proven experience in IT Infrastructure Management
- 4Expertise in Network Operations Center Project Management Security Operations Information Security and Compliance Management
- 5Strong communication and consulting skills to engage clients across industries
- 6Proficiency with MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
- 7Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling multiple projects
- 8Willingness to work on site at least 4 days a week
- 9Business travel from 5% - 10%
- 10Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds
- 11Must be able to move between buildings and floors
- 12Must remain stationary and use standard office equipment for extended periods
- 13Must be able to read prepare emails and produce documents and spreadsheets
- 14Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels daily
