IT Infrastructure Project Manager, Facilities & Networking
Overview
Lead corporate IT facilities and infrastructure projects in a manufacturing and clinical lab environment. You own the full lifecycle from structured cabling and WAN/LAN/WLAN to DAS, audio visual, physical security, and network refreshes. You coordinate cross-functional teams across San Jose onsite operations. This role delivers high-visibility upgrades including Firewall replacements and OS patching.
What You'll Do7
- 1Manage corporate IT facilities and infrastructure projects including structured cabling, WAN/LAN/WLAN, DAS, and audio visual systems.
- 2Drive network hardware refreshes and Firewall upgrades from planning to deployment.
- 3Coordinate OS patching across servers and endpoints in clinical and manufacturing environments.
- 4Lead physical security and voice system implementations alongside facility buildouts.
- 5Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to define scope, schedule, and budgets.
- 6Ensure project compliance with safety and regulatory requirements for lab and manufacturing areas.
- 7Track project milestones and communicate status to leadership and business units.
Requirements8
- 15+ years managing IT infrastructure or facilities projects in enterprise environments.
- 2Hands-on knowledge of structured cabling, WAN/LAN/WLAN, DAS, and Firewall technologies.
- 3Experience with OS patching tools such as SCCM or WSUS.
- 4Proven track record delivering Audio Visual and collaboration system upgrades.
- 5Strong vendor management and budget accountability for $500K+ project portfolios.
- 6Familiarity with physical security systems like CCTV and Access Control.
- 7PMP or ITIL certification preferred.
- 8Onsite presence required in San Jose, California.
