IT Project Manager - Facilities & Infrastructure
Overview
Own IT infrastructure and facilities projects at a global scale, managing structured cabling, WAN/LAN/WLAN, DAS, AV/collaboration, clinical labs, Voice, and physical security. Lead high-visibility initiatives through the full project lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams. Deliver network refreshes, firewall upgrades, and OS patching that keep critical operations running. This role requires an experienced PM who can adapt quickly and drive results in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Manage IT facilities and infrastructure projects from initiation to close, including structured cabling, WAN/LAN/WLAN, DAS, and AV systems.
- 2Coordinate clinical lab setups and Voice deployments, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure.
- 3Oversee physical security projects, including access control and surveillance systems.
- 4Lead network hardware refreshes and firewall upgrades, minimizing downtime.
- 5Drive OS patching initiatives across servers and endpoints, ensuring compliance.
- 6Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to define scope, schedule, and budgets.
- 7Track project milestones, report status to stakeholders, and mitigate risks.
- 8Ensure all projects meet quality standards and align with business objectives.
Requirements7
- 15+ years managing IT infrastructure or facilities projects.
- 2Experience with structured cabling, WAN/LAN/WLAN, DAS, and AV systems.
- 3Solid understanding of network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls) and OS patching.
- 4Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- 5PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- 6Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- 7Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
