Technical Project Manager III - Labcorp
Overview
You will lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects at Labcorp, managing budgets from $1M to $3M, teams of 10 to 25 resources, and timelines of 12 to 18 months. - 4Drive risk and issue management, developing mitigation and contingency plans to keep projects on track.
- 5Facilitate governance activities including stage gates, status reporting, and executive updates, converting status into actionable decisions.
- 6Manage vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to SOWs and delivery commitments.
- 7Monitor project financials and optimize spend relative to business value.
- 8Coordinate validation planning and compliance activities in regulated environments.
- 9Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and lessons learned, tracking delivery metrics to maintain project health.
Requirements9
- 15+ years of experience in IT project management with a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business.
- 25+ years leading end-to-end IT project delivery.
- 33+ years managing projects with multiple workstreams or cross-functional teams.
- 43+ years managing project budgets, timelines, and resource planning.
- 52+ years managing third-party vendors or external partners.
- 63+ years using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
- 72+ years using portfolio management or visualization tools such as Clarity PPM or Lucid.
- 81+ professional certification such as PMI CAPM or APM Associate (preferred).
- 93+ years in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries (preferred).
