IT Business Analyst, Agile & Requirements
Overview
You will own requirement elicitation and refinement for cross-functional Agile teams, translating business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. You will partner with stakeholders to drive sprint-based delivery of solutions at Golden Resources, a growing firm in Columbus, OH. What You'll Do8
- 1Elicit requirements from stakeholders using interviews, workshops, and document analysis within Agile sprints.
- 2Translate business needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- 3Facilitate backlog grooming and prioritization sessions with product owners and developers.
- 4Collaborate with QA to validate that delivered features meet acceptance criteria and business goals.
- 5Support sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring continuous improvement in requirement quality.
- 6Document current-state and future-state workflows using diagrams and process models.
- 7Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to resolve ambiguities.
- 8Track requirement changes and maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements8
- 13+ years experience as an IT Business Analyst in Agile environments.
- 2Proven ability to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira or similar tools.
- 32+ years facilitating workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
- 4Experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.
- 5Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7Certification in Agile Analysis (e.g., AAC, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
- 8Ability to work onsite Tuesday and Thursday in Columbus, OH.
