You document each vehicle's condition with a handheld inventory device and camera, meeting company standards for accuracy and speed. You direct receiving traffic and organize the yard to keep inventory flowing. You work outdoors year-round and solve customer issues by applying Copart policy. What You'll Do8

  • 1Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area to keep vehicle processing on schedule.
  • 2Operate a camera and use a handheld inventory device to capture vehicle condition for each incoming vehicle.
  • 3Determine operational capability of motor vehicles by testing key functions.
  • 4Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles, documenting all damage and features.
  • 5Maintain inventory of all materials used in the receiving area.
  • 6Comply with company policies and safety requirements at all times.
  • 7Direct the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory.
  • 8Offer solutions to meet customer needs by applying Copart policy throughout the inventory process.

Requirements8

  • 118+ years old at time of hire.
  • 2Ability to work outdoors in all seasons, including hot, cold, and rainy conditions.
  • 3General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • 4Basic computer proficiency with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred.
  • 5Strong attention to detail for accurate vehicle documentation.
  • 6Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with yard staff.
  • 7Driver's license preferred.
  • 8Bilingual skill is a plus.
