Inventory Control Technician II, Supply Chain & Logistics
Overview
Own stocking and storage of medical supplies in the supply chain storeroom at scale within the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. You will receive, track, and replenish inventory, handle returns, invoicing, and cycle counts, partnering with clinical staff to ensure availability of equipment and supplies. You will work with the Supply Chain team and clinicians to support inventory goals and department objectives. This role includes independent work with periodic tasks and a schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and maintain accurate stock levels through receiving, de‑casing, and stocking supplies to support clinical operations
- 2Design and execute cycle counts and annual inventory tasks to reduce discrepancies
- 3Ship and process vendor returns and resolve invoice issues to maintain financial accuracy
- 4Operate and troubleshoot inventory management processes using computer systems with minimal guidance
- 5Collaborate with clinicians and technicians to meet supply needs and uphold department policies

- 1HS Diploma or GED
- 21 year recent relevant experience
- 3Ability to perform accurate work within established timeframes
- 4Aptitude in math and computer operation
- 5Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and adhere to Conflict of Interest policies
