Overview
Lead Inventory and Sparing responsibilities at Northern Virginia warehouse supporting consular operations and COOP requirements. Manage COTS inventory system and coordinate system upgrades. - 3Administer Government-approved COTS inventory management system
- 4Coordinate system upgrades and customizations on DOS Intranet
- 5Direct production of standard and ad hoc warehouse reports bi-weekly
- 6Oversee annual physical inventory process and reconcile counts
- 7Manage spare equipment inventory including desktops laptops monitors components
- 8Ensure service level agreement compliance for spare parts
- 9Configure and deploy replacement hardware upon failure
- 10Track items sent to manufacturers for repair and escalate delays
- 11Maintain strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
- 12Provide excellent verbal and written communication across functional teams
- 13Prioritize competing requirements while maintaining inventory accuracy
Requirements12
- 1Strong knowledge of inventory management spare parts coordination and IT asset lifecycle management
- 2Experience maintaining accurate inventory records using enterprise inventory systems
- 3Ability to monitor inventory levels replenish stock and maintain SLAs
- 4Knowledge of configuration management asset accountability and government property procedures
- 5Bachelor of Arts or Science degree with 10+ years experience or Master of Arts or Science with 8+ years experience
- 6Physical requirements include steel-toe boots and ability to lift 40 pounds
- 7Standing and walking for extended periods with occasional heavy lifting
- 8Regular bending stooping and reaching to access inventory locations
- 9Pushing and pulling carts pallet jacks within warehouse environment
- 10Sufficient manual dexterity to safely handle IT hardware
- 11Ability to work in variable temperature warehouse with concrete flooring
