Inside Sales Representative, Aerospace & Motion Control
Overview
Own the full order lifecycle as the primary customer contact for a manufacturer of motion control products, serving aerospace and defense clients. Manage 3+ years of account experience with ERP systems like SyteLine or NetSuite to drive accurate orders and compliance. Coordinate daily with sales, engineering, and production teams to meet delivery commitments. This role stands out for its focus on ITAR and AS9100 compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency from day one. MS Office skills are essential for daily reporting and communication.
What You'll Do6
- 1Serve as the primary customer contact, managing orders end-to-end (quotes, PO processing, pricing, lead times, shipment tracking) while maintaining accurate ERP records.
- 2Review purchase orders for accuracy, pricing, delivery, and contractual/compliance terms, including DFARS and FAR requirements.
- 3Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Shipping to meet customer requirements and proactively communicate schedule changes.
- 4Handle returns, warranty claims, and order discrepancies to timely resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- 5Manage customer documentation including certs, packing lists, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- 6Build strong customer relationships through responsive, solution-oriented service, and identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and processes.
Requirements5
- 13+ years customer service/account management experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace, defense, industrial, or electromechanical preferred.
- 2Experience with motion control/electric motor products, and familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace manufacturing standards.
- 3Working knowledge of order processing and manufacturing workflows, including DFARS/FAR/ITAR/EAR compliance helpful.
- 4Strong ERP proficiency (SyteLine, Epicor, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and MS Office skills required.
- 5Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities independently and cross-functionally.
