Overview
Lead reverse-engineering and re-definition of parts while driving EBOM-to-MBOM flow. Present manufacturable designs to customers and act as engineering point of contact. Differentiate by owning full lifecycle from specification to final release.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead reverse-engineering and re-definition of the part
- 2Drive EBOM-to-MBOM flow within the customer Configuration Manager
- 3Create and update 3D models and 2D drawings to production standards
- 4Perform Design for Manufacturing analyses and propose alternative designs
- 5Create and manage the Engineering Bill of Materials
- 6Conduct Design FMEA and tolerance stack-up analysis
- 7Identify and list Key Characteristics and Critical-to-Inspection items
- 8Assess qualification gaps and propose updates to qualification plans
- 9Create Manufacturing Bill of Materials and manage signature release across ENG ME QE
- 10Provide technical direction to manufacturing engineers
- 11Author and update detailed assembly drawings to GD&T
Requirements5
- 110-15 years of aerospace product design engineering experience
- 2Expertise in 3D CAD and 2D drafting using SOLIDWORKS ALTIUM CATIA Creo NX
- 3Proven experience with PLM configuration-management systems
- 4Familiarity with DFMEA tolerance analysis and MBSE
- 5Knowledge of UAV programs and AS9100 quality systems
Salary Insight
$100 - $130k per year
