Overview
We seek a skilled Operations Manager and HVAC License Holder to build and lead a growing HVAC and Plumbing operation from the ground up. Our business expanded rapidly reaching $800K in year one and targeting $2.5M in year two while planning to reach $5M in 2027. This role involves shaping processes train the team and drive growth without typical executive duties.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own call by call management and daily execution of sold projects to ensure successful project completion
- 2Lead projects on the ground and provide technical expertise for new hires
- 3Conduct coaching and training to maximize results and optimize routes
- 4Recruit and interview AC technicians and plumbers to expand our team
- 5Train junior technicians to maintain technical excellence and service quality
- 6Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations
- 7Manage inventory tools and equipment for operational efficiency
- 8Maintain accurate service records work orders and material usage
- 9Collaborate on scheduling operations and long term planning
- 10Monitor call by call performance and provide real time support
- 11Drive process improvements and system development from scratch
Requirements9
- 1HVAC License Holder with proven residential and commercial experience
- 2Valid driver’s license clean driving record and background check
- 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 43-5 seasons leading field operations teams
- 5Knowledge of commercial blueprints and plumbing technical fundamentals
- 6Ability to commute from Liberty Hill TX 78642 to Austin TX
- 7Experience with residential and commercial HVAC projects
- 8Strong leadership skills natural mentorship and communication abilities
- 9Passion for growing a trade business and developing a team
