Human Resources Manager, Multi-Store Automotive Group
Overview
Own the full HR function for a family-owned multi-store automotive group across Denver and Littleton, 3+ years of experience required. Partner with ownership and General Managers on employee relations, compliance, benefits, and leadership development. This role tackles high-volume hiring, workers' comp, and performance management with multi-location scope. Build trust with leaders and drive organizational growth while preserving a culture that values respect and accountability.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and implement hiring, onboarding, and retention programs to reduce turnover and improve time-to-fill.
- 2Lead employee relations investigations and deliver clear, decisive guidance to managers on performance issues.
- 3Manage compliance, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims across all locations.
- 4Administer benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA, life, and 401K with matching.
- 5Coach General Managers and department leaders on leadership techniques and difficult conversations.
- 6Develop career paths and training programs to strengthen the employee experience.
- 7Partner with ownership on organizational growth, ensuring culture stays intact.
- 8Drive compensation benchmarking and pay equity using market data.
- 9Conduct stay and exit interviews to identify retention risks and action plans.
Requirements9
- 13+ years HR experience, with exposure to employee relations, compliance, and benefits.
- 2Automotive industry experience preferred.
- 3Multi-location HR experience a plus.
- 4Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- 5Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- 6Ability to handle difficult conversations with confidence and empathy.
- 7Adaptability to a fast-changing, diverse environment.
- 8Proven track record of building trust with stakeholders.
- 9Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.
