What You'll Do22

  • 1Build and process bi-weekly payroll end-to-end including audit error correction and distribution
  • 2Maintain Paychex Flex data for accurate reporting to management and employees
  • 3Track and report on vacation and sick leave balances in Paychex
  • 4Respond to subpoenas and third-party employment verification requests
  • 5Conduct periodic audits of HR files and records for compliance including I-9s
  • 6Complete and verify I-9 documentation according to federal requirements
  • 7Lead annual benefits open enrollment managing system setup communication and employee Q&A
  • 8Manage all leaves of absence including FMLA state disability workers compensation and other applicable leave programs
  • 9Review resumes conduct screening interviews coordinate manager interviews and schedule interviews
  • 10Process new hire documentation and onboarding programs
  • 11Identify inefficiencies in HR workflows and lead process improvement initiatives
  • 12Participate in evaluation implementation and rollout of new HR systems
  • 13Serve as subject matter expert during system transitions documenting processes testing configurations and training end users
  • 14Build and maintain SOPs for key HR functions
  • 15Develop and distribute HR communications including policy updates and benefits announcements
  • 16Draft maintain employee handbook and company policies
  • 17Prepare monthly HR metrics reports and send employee recognition communications
  • 18Support employee training materials organization-wide meetings and engagement surveys
  • 19Respond to employee inquiries on HR policies benefits and procedures
  • 20Maintain accurate personnel files and records in compliance with laws
  • 21Coordinate annual performance review and incentive programs
  • 22Support employee engagement surveys and recognition events

Requirements16

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 25+ years of HR Generalist experience manufacturing or field services background preferred
  • 33+ years processing multi-state payroll with Paychex Flex experience preferred
  • 42+ years benefits administration including invoice reconciliation enrollment and employee support
  • 5Demonstrated experience in process improvement identifying gaps redesigning workflows and documenting SOPs
  • 6Experience participating in or leading HR system implementations or technology transitions
  • 7Solid knowledge of FMLA ADA and state-specific leave and employment laws
  • 8Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint Visio
  • 9Smartsheet experience a plus
  • 10Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • 11Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail
  • 12Maintain confidentiality HR certification PHR SHRM-CP a plus
  • 13Physically able to sit operate computer use keyboard mouse and telephone for extended periods
  • 14Communicate consistently both verbally and in writing
  • 15Occasionally stand walk reach bend or lift items up to 35 pounds
  • 16Close vision and adjust focus for screen-based work
