What You'll Do8

  • 1Own full-cycle recruitment for all positions, from hourly staff to executive roles, posting openings, interviewing, and referring top talent to hiring managers.
  • 2Develop staffing strategies including internship programs, employee referrals, and minority outreach to build diverse talent pipelines.
  • 3Serve as a trusted advisor to managers, interpreting policies and employment laws, and guiding on personnel practices.
  • 4Lead employee relations and conflict resolution, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • 5Maintain compliance with FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation regulations, and manage unemployment insurance processes.
  • 6Drive employee engagement and retention programs, analyzing trends to recommend improvements.
  • 7Supervise the HR team, providing technical expertise and ensuring HR systems and processes are continuously improved.
  • 8Partner with leadership to assess workforce needs and implement talent acquisition strategies that support business goals.

Requirements7

  • 15+ years of HR experience in a hospitality or service-driven environment.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 3Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, including union agreements.
  • 4Proven leadership skills with the ability to advise and counsel managers on policy interpretation.
  • 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations to senior leadership.
  • 6HR certification (SHRM or SPHR) preferred, plus experience with HRIS and analytics tools.
  • 7Ability to work Saturdays, holidays, and occasional extended hours as needed.
