HR Expert | $70-$80/hr Remote
Overview
We're looking for seasoned HR leaders to help train AI systems to think like top-tier HR executives. In this remote contract role, you'll design realistic scenarios, reference outputs, and scoring rubrics that teach AI models how senior HR professionals handle talent management, employee relations, and organizational design. Your work will be calibrated to the scale and compliance complexity of major workforce programs at large companies. You can focus on U.S. employment law (Title VII, FLSA, ADA, state laws), international law (UK Employment Rights Act, EU directives), or both. This is a unique opportunity to translate your real-world HR expertise into measurable AI evaluation tasks.
What You'll Do5
- 1Design realistic HR scenarios covering talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and compensation/benefits design.
- 2Create evaluation tasks that span the full HR lifecycle—from recruiting and labor relations to compliance and organizational development.
- 3Build workplace situations using the same tools large enterprises rely on, including HRIS platforms like Workday and SAP SuccessFactors, applicant tracking systems, and compensation benchmarks from Radford and Mercer.
- 4Apply established HR methodologies—workforce planning, comp benchmarking, employee relations investigations—to the legal standards of your chosen track, and produce sample HR policies, investigation reports, compensation analyses, and org design proposals.
- 5Write scoring rubrics that separate authentic senior-level HR judgment from textbook or certification-exam answers.
Requirements4
- 1At least 5 years of experience as a senior HR leader—Chief People Officer, VP of HR, or equivalent—either in-house at a large company or at a major consultancy like Mercer or Korn Ferry.
- 2Proven ownership of talent programs, employee-relations cases, or compensation design projects from start to finish.
- 3Hands-on fluency with HR technology (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ATS platforms) and core methodologies, plus a working knowledge of how employment-law compliance operates in practice.
- 4An industry credential such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or an international equivalent is strongly preferred; experience writing rubrics or training materials is a plus.
Who Should Apply
You're a battle-tested HR executive who has sat in the CHRO or VP seat and made the calls on tough employee relations, compensation, and org design questions. You can articulate not just what a policy says, but how a senior leader would actually reason through a messy situation. Whether your expertise is U.S. employment law, international labor directives, or both, you're excited to codify that judgment into training data for AI. You're comfortable writing clear reference answers and scoring criteria—and you appreciate the nuance between textbook knowledge and real-world HR acumen.
