HR Assistant, Administrative Support & Payroll
Overview
Own administrative support for HR operations at a university dining program with a full time schedule in Minneapolis. Join a campus team delivering payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and HR program administration for a large, multi-site operation. Work closely with the HR Director and Manager on research projects, recruitment support, and daily clerical tasks to enable smooth people operations. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage employee records and paperwork to ensure accurate HR files
- 2Design and execute benefits enrollment for new hires and changes
- 3Assist with payroll audits and processing to ensure timely, accurate pay
- 4Support recruitment and interview processes including scheduling and coordinating logistics
- 5Prepare performance review materials and assist with HR projects and research
- 6Coordinate vendor communications for employee discounts and benefits programs
- 7Schedule meetings, interviews, and conferences and reserve facilities as needed
- 8Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, mail processing, and correspondence
- 9Support HR Manager with special projects and ad hoc requests
- 10Maintain compliance with HR policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements10
- 1Must have prior experience supporting sustainability initiatives or programs within an HR or administrative environment
- 2Availability for full-time schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional evenings and weekends for events
- 3Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with customer service experience
- 4Ability to verify I-9 documentation and assist with background checks
- 5Experience with payroll processes and benefits administration preferred
- 6Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
- 7Experience with recruitment support and interview scheduling is a plus
- 8Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- 9Proficiency with standard office software and documentation processes

Salary Insight
$56 - $62k per year
