We seek a skilled HPC Systems Administrator to lead sustainment of Linux and Windows platforms at a Washington DC government contract. What You'll Do9
- 1Transition new Linux clusters and SMP/MPP systems into operations
- 2Operate monitoring and incident response tools like Grafana and Prometheus
- 3Automate tasks using BASH scripts and configure Linux file systems
- 4Support HPC workloads with tools like Slurm and Git
- 5Provide user escalation and communicate with agency management
- 6Optimize resource utilization through capacity planning
- 7Analyze and resolve complex issues across heterogeneous systems
- 8Hardening and patching Linux/UNIX/Windows environments
- 9Implement OS-level enhancements for reliability and performance
Requirements5
- 1B.S. in technical discipline with 5 years System Admin experience or 10 years equivalent
- 2TS/SCI clearance with polygraph approval
- 3DoD 8570 IAT II certification
- 4Expertise with Red Hat CentOS Rocky Ubuntu and Lustre/GPFS file systems
- 5Proficiency in Slurm, Ansible, and Jira/Git workflow management
