Housekeeping Manager, Luxury Hotel Operations & Guest Experience
Overview
Responsible for leading daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas at a luxury hotel with 341 rooms and 24,000 sq ft of event space. You will drive cleaning standards, staffing, and collaboration with other departments to ensure top-tier guest satisfaction. This role emphasizes proactive leadership, operational efficiency, and a commitment to Loews’ service excellence. - 1Lead and oversee daily housekeeping operations ensuring rooms and public spaces meet exacting Loews standards
- 2Analyze room turns and staffing needs to optimize performance in real time
- 3Develop and implement procedures that drive efficiency while maintaining pristine environments
- 4Interview hire and mentor team members to foster growth and engagement
- 5Maintain optimal staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively
- 6Coordinate with other hotel departments for seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- 7Oversee uniform and laundry services ensuring quality and timeliness
- 8Hold regular team meetings to share updates and address challenges
- 9Evaluate team performance and coach for continuous improvement
- 10Attend mandatory training and adapt to varying work schedules as needed
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- 2Minimum of two years housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality and two years housekeeping or guest service leadership experience
- 3Opera Property Management System experience preferred
- 4Ability to develop and maintain operating and control processes to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
- 5Ability to stand for long periods and push pull lift up to 25lbs
