Overview
You will maintain clean and sanitary conditions in resident homes, common areas, and dining spaces at a senior living community in San Jose. You will follow approved cleaning procedures and interact with residents daily, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This full-time role includes benefits and a pay range of $21.78 - $27.00 per hour, with shifts Sunday through Thursday. What You'll Do7
- 1Clean resident homes, common areas, and dining rooms using approved procedures and VCT floor care.
- 2Restock supplies and ensure all assigned areas meet hygiene standards.
- 3Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- 4Interact respectfully with residents, addressing their needs promptly.
- 5Follow infection control protocols and use PPE as required.
- 6Complete deep cleaning tasks on a rotating schedule.
- 7Support team members during peak hours and special events.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of housekeeping experience in a similar setting.
- 2Ability to work Sunday-Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- 3Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- 4High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 5Commitment to providing excellent service to older adults.
- 6Basic communication skills in English, bilingual a plus.
