Housekeeper, Senior Living Community
Overview
You will own daily housekeeping in a senior living community, keeping resident apartments and shared spaces spotless. 5+ years of experience in housekeeping preferred, ideally in Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Supportive Living. You will work with the Maintenance Director to hit every cleanliness standard. Your work directly shapes a safe, welcoming home for residents.
What You'll Do7
- 1Clean resident apartments and shared spaces daily with housekeeping tools and supplies.
- 2Maintain a sanitary environment in line with federal, state, and local rules.
- 3Coordinate with the Maintenance Director to meet community cleanliness goals.
- 4Communicate with residents, families, staff, and vendors to address cleaning needs.
- 5Support a respectful, positive atmosphere for residents and team.
- 6Complete required state training and pass background checks within 90 days.
- 7Handle physical tasks like lifting 50 lbs and moving light furniture.
Requirements7
- 1Prior housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in senior living settings.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent; complete required state training.
- 3Experience with seniors strongly preferred.
- 4Compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented mindset.
- 5Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
- 6Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- 7Meet health requirements and pass background checks.
