Housekeeper, Long-Term Care Facility
Overview
You will own daily cleaning and sanitation at a long-term care facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will report to the supervisor and coordinate with nursing and administrative teams to meet infection control standards. What You'll Do6
- 1Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices using HCSG-approved procedures.
- 2Sanitize surfaces and high-touch points following infection control and universal precautions policies.
- 3Log cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
- 4Follow COVID-19 vaccination policies and safety guidelines for handling cleaning products.
- 5Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
- 6Complete all other assigned duties to maintain facility cleanliness and safety standards.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
- 3Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- 4Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- 5Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- 6Ability to work around cleaning products and follow oral and written instructions.
- 7Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- 8Residency within the service area required.
