Housekeeper, Senior Living Community
Overview
You will own the cleanliness and sanitation of a senior living community, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors across 11 states with Cogir Senior Living. You will work with a supportive team, report to the supervisor, and follow established schedules. What You'll Do8
- 1Clean resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and offices, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- 2Disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors, following infection control protocols.
- 3Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
- 4Launder and replace linens, towels, and other textiles as needed.
- 5Follow the community cleaning schedule and safety precautions, using cleaning equipment and chemicals properly.
- 6Build positive relationships with residents through friendly, respectful interactions, while respecting privacy and preferences.
- 7Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or resident needs changes to the supervisor.
- 8Handle and dispose of waste properly, adhering to sanitation standards.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 21+ year of housekeeping experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings.
- 3Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- 4Good time management and organizational skills.
- 5Friendly and professional demeanor.
- 6Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.
- 7Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
