Overview
You will own the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and common areas at our San Jose hotel. Housekeeping work covers full-service cleaning, bed making, and supply restocking. You will report to the front desk and coordinate with maintenance on room issues. This role demands strong attention to detail and a professional, guest-first attitude that drives repeat business.
What You'll Do7
- 1Sweep, mop, dust, and make beds in assigned rooms to hotel standards.
- 2Inspect each room for cleanliness and condition, noting any damage or repairs.
- 3Restock supplies like toiletries and linens in rooms and carts.
- 4Respond to guest requests and complaints with professionalism and patience.
- 5Log and report room status updates after each cleaning.
- 6Adhere to health and safety rules, including proper chemical use.
- 7Organize housekeeping cart and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of housekeeping or professional cleaning experience.
- 2Ability to work with minimal supervision while hitting quality metrics.
- 3Friendly and customer-oriented attitude for guest interactions.
- 4Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- 5Ability to move quickly without compromising thoroughness.
- 6Capable of light lifting and standing for extended shifts.
