Overview
You own the front-of-house flow at Gustazo Cuban Kitchen & Bar, seating guests and managing reservations for a bustling Boston restaurant. What You'll Do6
- 1Greet guests at the door and seat them at available tables
- 2Manage reservations through OpenTable and adjust for walk-in customers in real time
- 3Present menus and share daily specials or promotions with each party
- 4Keep the dining area clean and reset tables between seatings
- 5Answer phone calls and book reservations during service
- 6Coordinate with servers to balance table rotation and service speed
Requirements6
- 11+ years in a host or hostess role preferred
- 2Hands-on experience with Aloha POS for order entry and table management
- 3Strong communication skills for guest interaction and team coordination
- 4Ability to stand and walk for 4-6 hours per shift
- 5Familiarity with hospitality or food service environments
- 6Weekend and evening availability required
