Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. This role involves owning guest experiences through accurate ordering and upselling. The position offers competitive compensation and growth opportunities within a professional setting.
What You'll Do11
- 1Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner to ensure a positive first impression
- 2Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- 3Provide detailed information about menu items including daily specials and wine pairings
- 4Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- 5Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation
- 6Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience ensuring timely refills and assistance
- 7Handle cash transactions efficiently including processing payments and providing change
- 8Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- 9Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- 10Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- 11Own the overall guest experience and uphold restaurant standards
Requirements9
- 1Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred
- 2Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous
- 3Strong time management skills with ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- 4Excellent customer service skills focusing on guest relations and satisfaction
- 5Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- 6Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential
- 7Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus
- 8Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- 9Passion for hospitality and dedication to providing unforgettable dining experiences
