Overview
The Host sets the tone for every guest experience at Kuza Scottsdale, guiding reservations, arrivals, and dining flow with grace and attention to detail. You will be the first and last contact, ensuring guests feel welcomed and appreciated in an upscale environment. Collaborate with FOH team to maintain smooth seating and guest satisfaction. What You'll Do9
- 1Greet guests with genuine hospitality and professionalism
- 2Manage reservations and waitlists using the designated system
- 3Coordinate table assignments to optimize pacing and guest satisfaction
- 4Communicate clearly with managers and servers to maintain seating flow
- 5Anticipate guest needs such as special occasions or dietary preferences
- 6Answer phones and inquiries with accuracy and courtesy
- 7Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entryway
- 8Assist FOH team with menus, table resets, and guest farewells during peak hours
- 9Support private dining and to-go inquiries as needed
Requirements6
- 1Minimum 1 year of host or guest service experience in an upscale environment
- 2Excellent communication and organizational skills
- 3Friendly, polished, and composed demeanor
- 4Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation platforms preferred
- 5Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure
- 6Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
