Home Health Aide (HHA) - Senior Care Companion
Overview
You will provide in-home care for seniors across Southeast Houston, covering Baytown, Mont Belvieu, Crosby, Pasadena, Dayton, Liberty, Deer Park, La Porte, and Highlands. Your role focuses on companionship, daily living support, and safety. You join a team committed to compassionate care, with opportunities for advanced training in dementia care and Alzheimer's care. What You'll Do10
- 1Assist clients with medication reminders and prescribed doses.
- 2Support ambulation and mobility, including doctor's appointments and walks.
- 3Help with personal care and hygiene tasks.
- 4Guide clients through routine exercises.
- 5Plan and prepare meals, adjusting for dietary needs.
- 6Shop for clients or accompany them during shopping.
- 7Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot manage.
- 8Be a supportive companion, ensuring emotional well-being.
- 9Report unusual incidents promptly and document as required.
- 10Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- 3Clean background check.
- 4Passion to serve others and true caregiver mindset.
- 5Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
- 6Housekeeping skills and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
