Overview
Own desktop environment optimization and automation for a 100% on-site IT team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will drive technology modernization using Microsoft Endpoint Manager, PowerShell, and SCCM. Work alongside IT leadership to reduce manual tasks through scripting and imaging. This contract role calls for a local, hands-on troubleshooter ready to make an immediate impact.
What You'll Do7
- 1Automate Windows desktop deployments using PowerShell scripts and SCCM task sequences.
- 2Image and configure machines with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, ensuring current software versions.
- 3Lead the rollout of new software licensing management tools and track compliance.
- 4Debug complex application installs and resolve conflicts in Windows 10/11 environments.
- 5Innovate by creating self-service automation scripts to cut repeat tickets.
- 6Coordinate with IT teammates to maintain a stable, secure desktop fleet.
- 7Document automation processes and train peers on PowerShell basics.
Requirements6
- 12+ years in desktop support with a focus on Windows environments.
- 21+ years scripting with PowerShell or similar automation languages.
- 3Hands-on experience imaging Dell and HP machines via SCCM or MDT.
- 4Familiarity with software asset management and licensing models.
- 5Local to Ohio and able to work onsite daily; must pass face-to-face interview.
- 6Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, automation-first mindset.
