Healthcare Operations Manager - DaVita Clinic Leadership
Overview
You will own the full operation of a DaVita outpatient clinic, managing a cross-functional team and driving patient care outcomes. This role combines business leadership with clinical oversight, with 1+ year of management experience required. You will lead a team of nurses, technicians, and administrative staff, while partnering with the Regional Operations Director to achieve financial and quality goals. The position offers autonomy to run the clinic like your own business, with comprehensive training and support from DaVita. Health care experience is not required, only strong leadership and business acumen.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead and inspire a high-performing clinical team through coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
- 2Oversee clinic operations including staffing, budgeting, financial performance, inventory, and quality outcomes.
- 3Build relationships with patients and the community to ensure exceptional care and satisfaction.
- 4Manage the complete P&L for the clinic, adhering to budget and forecasting expenses.
- 5Partner with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns and drive regional goals.
- 6Drive clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient health.
- 7Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, including CMS standards.
- 8Foster a patient-centered culture that values diversity and belonging.
Requirements6
- 11+ year of management experience in healthcare, business, or military, or equivalent renal experience (nurse, dietitian, social worker, LPN).
- 2Associates degree preferred, Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred.
- 3Current CPR certification required or obtain within 60 days of hire.
- 4Current license as a Registered Nurse if required by state of employment.
- 5Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- 6Strong collaboration skills, working with clinical and financial teams daily.
