Head of Hospitality, Front of House Manager
Overview
You will own the daily operations of the restaurant, managing a team of up to 20 employees. You will coordinate training, schedules, and performance evaluations while ensuring food quality and customer satisfaction. The role requires compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations, plus inventory and financial duties. You will work closely with the Regional Manager, using Google Workspace to track sales and labor. This position offers the chance to lead a supportive team culture and represent MOZZ in the community.
What You'll Do10
- 1Drive daily operations, overseeing food preparation and service to meet quality and presentation standards.
- 2Coach new hires and staff through structured training programs, identifying gaps and implementing solutions.
- 3Build staff schedules and maintain accurate personnel records, ensuring compliance with company policy.
- 4Conduct performance reviews and handle discipline or termination following restaurant guidelines.
- 5Resolve customer complaints with diplomacy and courtesy, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- 6Monitor inventory and stock levels, purchasing supplies and coordinating pickups from other locations.
- 7Manage financial and payroll duties, completing all administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- 8Inspect the restaurant daily for health and safety compliance, scheduling equipment repairs as needed.
- 9Analyze sales and labor reports to adjust performance, implementing recommendations from the Regional Manager.
- 10Foster a positive work environment by leading by example and motivating the team to take pride in their work.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2Previous restaurant experience required; management experience preferred.
- 3Successful completion of corporate training program required.
- 4Strong supervisory skills with ability to lead and motivate a team of up to 20 employees.
- 5Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with focus on customer service.
- 6Proficient with Google Workspace or related software.
- 7Familiarity with food handling, safety, and restaurant guidelines.
- 8Ability to work in a high-stress environment with excellent time management.
- 9Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and kneel, up to 55 pounds, for prolonged periods.
- 10Flexible availability to work any day of the week, including evenings and weekends.
