What You'll Do10
- 1Drive customer satisfaction by resolving service issues within the first hour of each shift.
- 2Supervise food preparation and presentation, enforcing HACCP guidelines across all stations.
- 3Coordinate daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory counts.
- 4Train new hires on POS systems and service standards within their first week.
- 5Conduct daily walkthroughs to audit cleanliness, safety, and compliance with OSHA standards.
- 6Lead shift briefings to align team on menu changes and guest preferences.
- 7Optimize labor schedules to match traffic patterns, cutting waste without cutting service.
- 8Partner with kitchen staff to manage food waste and par levels using FIFO rotation.
- 9Handle guest complaints with empathy, turning negative experiences into loyal customers.
- 10Support management in monthly financial reviews, analyzing cost data and forecasting needs.
Requirements8
- 13-5 years in food service or hospitality supervision, with a focus on lounge or restaurant operations.
- 2Associate's degree in hospitality management, or comparable work experience.
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to address management, clients, and staff.
- 4Demonstrated ability to multi-task and shift priorities in a live service environment.
- 5Working knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards, including ServSafe certification.
- 6Proven coaching and leadership skills, with a track record of developing team performance.
- 7Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
- 8Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office for reporting and scheduling.
