What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the varsity boys soccer program and set competitive performance goals
- 2Design game plans, training schedules, and utilization of athletes to maximize on-field outcomes
- 3Recruit, mentor, and evaluate players, fostering growth and team culture
- 4Coordinate with coaching staff to ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to NFHS guidelines
- 5Manage practice logistics, game day operations, and performance analytics within the season
- 6Collaborate with athletic trainers and school leadership to support student-athlete well-being
- 7Monitor talent development and provide feedback to players and families
- 8Oversee adherence to district policies, eligibility rules, and safety protocols
- 9Represent the program in district meetings and community events
- 10Ensure ongoing professional development through NFHS certifications and coaching education
Requirements11
- 1Varsity head coaching experience or a minimum of 2 years coaching experience
- 2Certification: Arizona Teaching Certificate (preferred)
- 3NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
- 4NFHS Concussion in Sports
- 5NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- 6NFHS Heat Illness Prevention
- 7NFHS Protecting Students from Abuse
- 8CPR/First Aid/AED (In Person Course Hands-on Session Required)
- 92 Letter of Recommendation (Must be current or within the last year)
