Own the development and performance of student athletes across practices and competitions. Lead game strategy, skill development, and behavior standards for a middle school baseball program. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and implement a regular practice schedule for individual and team development
- 2Lead in-game strategy and assign team positions based on player capabilities
- 3Coach players on rules, techniques, and equipment usage while maintaining safety standards
- 4Monitor academic performance and ensure eligibility compliance for team members
- 5Coordinate with the athletics director on facility scheduling and equipment maintenance
- 6Promote the sport through outreach to booster clubs and community organizations
- 7Oversee transportation logistics for away games and maintain records for equipment and uniforms
- 8Maintain records including eligibility forms emergency information insurance and inventory
- 9Confer with parents/guardians regarding athletic performance and progress
- 10Participate in school events such as parent nights banquets and pep assemblies
Requirements10
- 1Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 2NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate
- 3NFHS Concussion in Sports Certificate
- 4Must be at least 21 years old
- 5Prior coaching experience preferred
- 6Ability to drive athletes using district transportation and provide proof of insurance
- 7Maintain nondiscriminatory practices in all activities
- 8Follow district and state regulations governing the athletic program
- 9Demonstrate ability to maintain effective relationships with students staff and community
- 10Adhere to administrative policies and directives of the program
