Coach student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. This role motivates student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport. The position focuses on developing talent through organized training and competitive play.

- 1Hold organizational meetings for team prospects and encourage participation
- 2Assess player skills and assign team positions
- 3Develop practice schedules providing individual and team development
- 4Organize practice time for balanced growth
- 5Work with athletics director on facility scheduling
- 6Assign duties to assistant coach when needed
- 7Teach rules regulations equipment and techniques
- 8Observe players during competition and practice for improvement
- 9Determine game strategy based on team capabilities
- 10Maintain academic standards and monitor performance
- 11Follow injury protocols and handle parent communications
- 12Conference with guardians about athletic performance
- 13Adhere to regulations and model sportsmanship
- 14Represent team in community activities
- 15Manage equipment inventory and award submissions
- 16Drive athletes using district bus for off campus games
- 17Maintain eligibility forms and insurance records
Requirements10
- 1Prior coaching experience preferred
- 2Must be at least 21 years old
- 3Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 4NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate
- 5NFHS Concussion in Sports Certificate
- 65+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 73-5 seasons leading teams
- 8Knowledge of fundamental basketball principles
- 9Ability to maintain effective relationships with students staff and community
- 10Physical stamina for repetitive motions and moderate exertion
