What You'll Do11
- 1Organize and supervise practice sessions and games following CHSAA guidelines
- 2Develop skill development plans and evaluate athlete placement
- 3Coordinate team travel and locker room management
- 4Maintain communication with administration parents and staff
- 5Implement injury monitoring and enforce return-to-play protocols
- 6Oversee fundraising for program expenses
- 7Collaborate with assistant coaches to set expectations
- 8Ensure compliance with district policies and safety regulations
- 9Track athlete attendance behavior and academic progress
- 10Administer first aid CPR and AED procedures
- 11Maintain equipment and uniform records
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 21 years of age with valid teaching certification
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3Complete BVSD online application
- 4Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- 5Certified in CPR First Aid and AED
- 6Prior coaching experience preferred
- 7Knowledge of senior high school athletics programming
- 8Demonstrated leadership with youth sports teams
- 9Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
